Review: Silkygirl Funky Eyelights in 08 Frosty Silver

As much as I'm a very 'matte eyeshadow' kinda person, it's nearing Christmas and sparkles should not be missed from Christmas, right? I got my hands on Silkygirl Funky Eyelights in 08 Frosty Silver last month. Like it's name Frosty Silver, it's a legit silver with slight shimmer. You could use it as an eyeliner to brighten up the inner corners of your eyes, or even as an eyeshadow base.

Price: S$7.90

To be honest, I'm quite impressed with this product. I swatched it on my hand to take the above picture and a few hours later, I tried rubbing it off, but it stayed put! Pretty amazing for just $7.90. It's pretty long lasting as well, as it managed to stay on for a long humid night with just E.L.F Eyelid Primer (US$1) underneath it.

It has a pearlescent finish and does not contain chunky glitters like some other eyeliner/eyeshadow sticks - which is lovely, since those chunky glitters irritates my eyes. Also, it's creamy texture makes application a breeze, and it is highly pigmented! So a little definitely goes a loooong way!

One thing I'd would have preferred for it to be, would be its packaging because sharpening them can be quite a chore. And if you're like me, you use them to occasionally line your eyes, the constant need for sharpening will deter me to other replacements I can find in my stash. But still, I'm determine to overcome my laziness. :D

It comes in 9 different colors: 01 Olive Green, 02 Ocean Blue, 03 Sky Blue, 04 Pure Purple, 05 Candy Pink, 06 Metallic Bronze, 07 Solid Gold, 08 Frosty Silver, 09 Lime Green.

It's such an easy way to add a pop of color to your eyes without looking too overdone - just nice for the festive season :)

In a nutshell: It's creamy, longlasting, highly pigmented, has a variety of colors. BUT, it'd be good if it all came in a retractable pen packaging. No complaints on the product itself!
