Review: Silkygirl Funky Eyelights (II)

Remember in one of the previous entries, I reviewed these Funky Eyelights and stated that they're quite a nice pop of color to add in this festive season? Well, I went down to Watsons again and they were having the 'Buy 2 get 1 free' promotion from the same brand! So I was thinking, why not? 

I bought the colors Pure Purple, Sky Blue and Olive Green, and pictured together with them is my Frosty Silver! 

I was in a dilemma between Sky Blue and Ocean Blue. After multiple swatching and rubbing and thinking (LOL), I decided on Sky Blue - which was relatively much more of a Blue, compared to Ocean Blue. Ocean Blue came off as this strong purple-hue Blue that was quite close to the Pure Purple I was getting. 

And Olive Green.. I love my dirty greens :) I fell in love with Olive Green at first swatch! It's a gorgeous dirty green with a tinge of yellow. Besides my usual browns for eyeliner, Green was second on the list. I decided to get blue and purple become they seem to be a good choice for eyelining as well. Plus, they complement dark brown eyes right?

I decided to play around with the blue, because it seems really cool-toned and I wasn't too sure if it would complement my warm/yellow skin tone. This would probably be how I'm gonna wear these colors - just to add a pop of color to my entire eyes. Sky Blue was applied on E.L.F Eyelid Primer (US$1) and I dabbed on a blue eyeshadow to set it. I also applied a little of Sky Blue onto the bottom lashline and finished it up with normal eyelining.

After all that phototaking, I showered as per normal - with all that scrubbing, but I left the swatched area untouched and hey, the colors are still visible! That's quite amazing, eh? ;)

No difference from Frosty Silver, but one thing would be that Sky Blue was not as opaque as I wished it was. But no biggie. So head back to my review on Frosty Silver for all the breakdowns!

It's about 10pm now and I took the photos about 4? And they are still on my hand, as I am typing this entry. Been rubbing over it every hour or so and it still looks like the above picture! Yay for good deals!
