Rattling aside, I was looking through my mini storage box that contains most of my make-up and all that beauty stuff, and I realised that I have a couple of eyeshadow duos - mainly from Silkygirl, and 2 single eyeshadows. They took up A LOT of space in that mini storage box that is about to burst open very very soon. So, I couldn't take it any further (drama mama me) and decided to depot them and place them in a makeshift palette from an old CD cover. It's a really simple DIY!
Anyway, just incase you're curious about the eyeshadows;
1st Column (Silkygirl):
- Ying and Yang - white with slight shimmer (L), matte black (R)
- Mocha Latte - shimmer medium brown (L), shimmer coffee brown - gorgeous by the way! (R)
- Smokey Spark - shimmer cool pale blue-grey, shimmer cool dark blue grey - another beauty! (R)
- Golden Emerald - shimmer yellow gold (L), shimmer emerald - one more beauty!(R)
- Purple Glitters - shimmer light pink (L), shimmer duo-chrome cool medium pink. (R)
2nd Column (L.A. Girls):
- Unknown - it's this gunmetal grey with slight sheen that doesn't really have much of a color payoff.
- ES121 Snowflake - white shimmer.
3rd Column (Missha):
- GA203 - sparkly version of LA Girl's 'unknown'
- VL301 - violet with shimmer and slight sparkle.
Oh, how times have changed. Some of the colors in this makeshift palette were bought quite awhile back. I couldn't believe that I was such a hardcore shimmer/sparkle fan! I'm a full convert to matte eyeshadows right now - with the occasional indulgence in shimmers/sheens. Talk about ageing :(
I have quite a bit of Silkygirl products because they're wallet friendly and of a decent quality, so I will be reviewing them in the next few posts since there isn't much reviews on them! Stay tuned! :)
