Review: Biore cleansing oil-in-cotton

Hello all!!!! did u guys had an awesome christmas???? I did despite being super sick hehe! It's the flu season here in Singapore so I caught some serious flu virus... was down the whole week before xmas week. I quarantined myself at home for the whole week as I was too uncomfortable to go out and I didnt wanna spread it to others. (SO CONSIDERATE RIGHT! haha)

Anyway, I was feeling better so I decided to meet my friends hehe! But I look damn sick and pale. :( Instant remedy: MAKEUP! HAHA

I was going for the natural look. hehe! so I had bb cream, concealer, foundation, blusher, pressed powder and blot powder on. My eyebrows look damn nice right!!!! I went for eye brow embroidery the day before. I shall blog abt it when the eye brow project is done ^.^

Ok...Back to the intent of this post. Review of this super convenient makeup remover: Biore cleansing oil-in-cotton. I dont like anything with oil as I find that it's super easy to form milia seeds (a.k.a oil seeds) Since this is like SUPER convenient I did the rash thing (which I always do) I bought it.

I actually bought it when I was shopping for stuff that I need to bring for my holiday trip: China (I NEVER thought I would say this but China is fantastic). I didn't want to carry my makeup remover there as I felt that it takes up alot of space (lame excuse). haha! so YAY! I had a reason to buy and try this product.

(A photo of my literally trying hahahahaha)

After the first wipe~ REALLY NOT BAD!

So here's a photo of my half cleansed face. To let you guys see how CLEAN this product can get your face to be.

This photo is w/out flash. (Inserts 9gag idk what im doing dog... haha! just inserted this for fun! In case u guys can't see the difference from the previous photo)

So I used like 5 pieces to ensure that my face is TOTALLY clean. If you guys are wondering why not stop at the 3rd since the 3rd is barely used. I'm sure if you clean harder it will clean everything. WRONGGGGGGGG! having good skin is the most important thing of all. If you sleep with makeup on or didnt clean it enough, your face will age MUCH faster. like 5-10 years faster! SOOOO HORRIBLE! (my aim is to age beautifully haha) In the end I cleaned and cleaned until I can see nothing on the tissue. Call me kiasu.

Anyway! I rate this product a MUST HAVE for TRAVELING! coz it's really too convenient! Also, you can use it for your eye makeup all. It can really clean and doesnt have that oily feel after usage. I rate it a 8/10 coz it's really value for money as well! Wallet friendly and good. It's a steal! hehe!

NOTD: Simple X'Mas Nails!

Hello everyone! MERRY X'mas! Sorry I haven't been blogging much :( I went to China for my holidays and that place is awesome. Yes, China is awesome. Didn't expect myself to say that but that place is BEAUTIFUL! and than I fell sick after I came back. So happens that 3 of my family members at home were sick when I returned and I caught it from them. THEM. ok?!?!?! I did not carry some weird illness back. But yea I got really sick  :( I stayed at home for a WHOLE week coz I didn't even have the strength to go out. And PORRIDGE EVERYDAY... omgawd that was the worst combination ever.

ANYWAY! For those who are concerned I feel so much better already! :D Thank God for my recovery just in time for x'mas! :) What do I do when I feel better? Not to parties or shopping, but to paint my nails :) Of course after I ate my pizza and drank my bubble tea. hehe! I can't tell you how good it felt omg it was like fireworks and love and glitter all mixed together. teehee! Since x'mas is around the corner, I did my nails x'mas style. Since I just recovered I don't have the strength and energy to be all bubbly and energetic. So my nails are pretty low key, just like how i'm gonna be for the next few days.
I kept it simple and classic for my hands as I didn't have that urge to go all cute this x'mas. Probably it's the fever getting my head. teehee!

There's abit more of a party going on down at my toes as I felt that it's not easy for them to stand out. They are quite poor thing, always get outshined by the shoes. Not this time! I had painted more of the white for a more x'masy feel and added glitter polish on top of the white so the whole thing won't look like it has too much going on. Sorry that there wasn't even any lighting... will take a nicer photo next time! So what do you think of it?

How does your nails look this x'mas?

p.s. I got a beats headphones from my parents! HEHE! not because of x'mas but it's because I was THAT sick. yea my parents are weird. They don't give me presents during occasions. They give me presents when I'm sick... usually... well, only when I'm major sick. HAHA! blessing in disguise? idk... it makes me feel better :) Will post more photos when i'm actually out hehe

Review: Essence 3-in-1 Concealer

Hi friends! It's been awhile and I'm back with this review on a budget friendly product!

Alright, you might have had a glimpse of it in one of the previous posts where I briefly talked about it. But after using it for about a good 5 months of so, this post here, will be my verdict.

The thing about this product, was that it started off pretty well. It was my first time trying a color corrector, and have always been intrigued by Coastalscents CamoQuad Color Corrector (that's alot of C's), but never really got around buying it. And when I saw Essence's version of a color corrector at such an attractive price, I got it.

As mentioned, it started off pretty well. I liked it - decently. It was handy, and travel friendly, and definitely one of the things that I'd throw into my make up pouch. But after a few weeks of using this, I realised that it was starting to dry out my under eye area (I use the salmon color for my under eyes) and also, it began settling into the fine lines, making my under eye area really patchy. :( I guess this could be due to the fact that the product was drying up in the pan - despite the fact that I snap it shut after daily usage. I'm just pushing the blame to the packaging of this product.

The good:

  • Pocket-friendly pricing.
  • Handy, small and compact enough for you to chuck into your pouch.
  • Really does color correct.

The bad:

  • Gets cakey after 3-4hours. Under eye area becomes patchy.
  • Settles into fine lines
  • Product in pan dries up really fast. Packaging does not help in any other way.
  • Slips off easily, compared to other face regions.

And no, I probably wouldn't get this again. Think I might have lost faith in color correctors. =/

Long hair, go or no go?

HELLO EVERYBIRDEEEEEEE!!!!!

Noticed something different abt me???

All girls like to ask this! IT'S A TRAP!!!!!!!! hahahahaha

ok fine... u may not notice... NAH! MAKE IT VERY OBVIOUS FOR U ALL OKAY!

(A picture of me during one of my birthday celebrationS!)

IT'S MY HAIR!!!!! It's longer now! And BLACK! hahahaha

why??? Singapore's weather is so fucking hot and all... why would I want long hair??? well there's a few reasons:
1. I ALWAYS had short hair... since I was born... my parents didn't want me to have long hair because it's quite hard to take care of it.
2. I wanted a change. I had like medium hair length, short, and super short! but never long.
3. To irritate my project mates. They regard me as a BRO so yea this is to add on my femininity or whatever there is... haha!

I would say that this is a good change? I kinda like it coz I look prettyyyyyy! HAHAHA! SO SHAMELESS!
From the side!

If you guys are wondering, HOW CAN MY HAIR GROW SO LONG SUDDENLY? duh it's hair extensions... and this is how it's braided on...

It doesn't feel uncomfortable at all.Ok probably the first few days. Once I got used to it, its actually nothing much. I wanna see how I look with long hair so I went ahead to get the hair extensions. Why don't I grow it myself? Well, my hair take ages to grow because I have natural curls.... to wait for it to grow this long, I will die first.

Come come let me answer a few questions that u guys might have with regards to hair extensions
1. can you wash it?
Duh you can! it's just more inconvenient as you have all these braided stuff... All you need is extra care and be gentle.

2. Can you dye it?
My extensions are all natural i.e real human hair. I can dye, curl or straighten it if I want to. Basically it's like normal hair.

3. Do you feel any discomfort?
I have low pain tolerance, so it kinda hurt when the hairdresser kept pulling my hair to braid it. Also, for the first few days, it's kinda troublesome as I'm not used to it. It's a pain to wash and comb my hair. I got so irritated I almost went to take those extensions out the next day. But I thought of the 200 dollars that I spent I just tolerated it. haha! I took 1 week to get used to this... cut me some slack as I had short hair all my life ok!!!!!!!!! oh and the thought of those extensions being some real human hair is kinda scary. like those horror movie? the hair will try to strangle you or something when you are sleeping... HAHA! sorry I'm a weirdo. Well, I just don't think about this. Use my bimbo-ness and think about how good I look instead hahaha! OH OH! And Singapore's weather is FUCKING hot. So the long hair doesn't help!

I know that it's not easy for someone to just go and do the extensions as you might worry about alot of things. Unable to take care of it, not getting  used to the look, scared that people will judge you and those. And yes I did thought of those. Many people especially girls (those bitchy ones) always come and irritate the hell out of me by saying things like, "OMG CYNTHIA! WHY IS YOUR HAIR SUDDENLY SO LONG
? HAIR EXTENSIONS HUH! (than they go and touch it all) OMG EEEE DON'T YOU THINK IT'S DISGUSTING? just let it grow like mine la!' I didn't type this is caps as I'm agitated. I typed it in caps because they always say this kinda stuff damn loudly in public. -.-

I gotta admit I was quite pissed off at first. If you are gonna answer your own questions than don't ask me anything. And I don't like people touching me, be it my face, my body or my hair. If you wanna touch go touch yourself and leave me alone. Anyway, coming back to the topic about people judging, the answer is to simply ignore or rather, embrace it. Come on, do you have natural brown hair? or your eyelids are naturally coloured? or your iris is fucking green? or your nails are naturally pink? So tall without your heels? Your boobs are naturally this big? Your nose is naturally sharp? (sorry this is meant for the bitches that I met... not u) All of us put on makeup and stuff to make ourselves look better. some even put on cosmetic lenses into their EYES and you say extensions are what? gross? at least I won't get any infections or go blind. The point I'm trying to put across here is, you have to feel inferior or bad at all when people try to put you down. As long as you are happy, you are fine the way you are. :)

Anyway, I did my hair at angel xin, the branch at city plaza as it's nearer to my place. (too lazy to travel hehe) this is webbie: http://www.angelxin.com.sg/ you guys can go check it out! Their service is not bad as they would match your hair colour so it will look super natural. I dyed my hair black before doing the extensions and there wasn't any match. So they actually went to dye the extensions to match my black hair without any surcharge! so awesome right! They were also super patient and nice. I would rate it 4 stars out of 5! (Minus one star as the deco of the place is horrible. There are A LOT OF ROOM for improvement for the deco of the place.)

NOTW: Fat Braided Nails

Apologies for the unsightly title.

However, I'm merely depicting what's on my nails. Initially, the idea was to have some nice braided patterns on my nails. I saw some really cool ways of painting braids on your nails and was totally inspired to try them out of my nails.

But the thing is that, I have weirdly sized nails for an adult. My pinky, is probably only about 0.5cm tall and I don't usually grow my nails because I play sports and guitar/ukulele, so it's really hard having long nails! So this design was totally awkward on my hands, and after much self delusional talk I had with myself, I think they still look like some abstract patterns, right?=/

Here it is. And don't laugh.

And I hope you guys have a lovely weekend! :)

School and Make up

Summer break is over - at least for me. But then again, thinking how there are no four seasons over here in SG, it means that my break never really started (which is true to some extent)

In anycase, school's starting, in about 12hours time and gone will be the days where I try to spice up my relationship with my bed. This thought is so depressing.

Okay, drama aside! I thought it'd be pretty interesting to blog about some of the make up that I'd be using for school this semester. :)

When I was in year 1, I kinda went OTT (Off The Top) and bought alot of things that I thought I would be using for school. But these items eventually never even made it out of their packaging - which is a waste of product and money. I mean, the product could be a gem, but because I never used it/don't know how to use it, it's pretty much condemned and worthless.

Which made me realised  how much I tried to please people and to 'blend in' because most of the girls in my school apply shitload of make up! Thankfully, I managed to find a few of the 'maskless' girls and yeah, the thought of dressing up to the nines kinda dissipated and everything became 'au naturale' - that means hello eye bags and yellow skin. hahaha.

Words aside! These are the products that I will/have been using for school.

And now, for the mini breakdowns and reviews on each of product.

Left to Right:
Maybelline Clear Smooth BB Stick in Natural
NYX Rouge Cream Blush in Natural
Essence Forget It! 3-in-1 Concealer

 1. Maybelline Clear Smooth BB Stick in Natural
This is a product that hit the shores of SG around this year or so and to be honest, I was a little skeptical about it initially. However, I tried it out in the stores and I was quite sold! The texture is creamy, but dries to a matte/satin finish! I wouldn't say it is an absolute matte that makes you look cakey, but rather, it's a pleasant healthy finish with subtle glow. It is easy to apply and really convenient to carry about for touch ups as well.

However, it's important to really moisturise your skin before application. I have dry skin at times and after a long day under the sun, my skin is drained of moisture and this product simply accentuates the cracks on my skin - not a pleasant sight.

2. NYX Rouge Cream Blush in Natural
My favourite blush, ever! Easy application, highly pigmented and lasts forever! The color is amazing and they have many shades for you to choose from if you're not an 'au naturale' person like me. HAHAHA! But on a serious note, this is a multi purpose product. I use this not only on my cheeks but also, after a long day at school and just right before I meet some friends for dinner, I'd just dab this on my lip to just brighten up my lifeless, perpetually sleepy and grumpy face. I think I made some new friends.

3. Essence Forget It! 3-in-1 Concealer
I've always wanted to try green correctors, just to see if it will reduce the redness on my face - especially near my nose area. And of course even though I have read a thousand and one articles on green correctors for red-faces AKA me, I had to try it to believe it. And yes, I believe that it does. I like how the product (all 3 colors) go on really smoothly. They're not exactly the most pigmented bunch of color correctors in the market, but they do their job pretty well. Do note that they are meant to be layered underneath your foundation/concealer, or a setting powder.

And these are what the colors are suppose to correct:
Green - Reduce Redness (around zits, sides of nose/mouth)
Salmon Pink - Under eye circles
Flesh tone - Generic concealing

Top to Bottom:
Rimmel's EXAGGERATE Waterproof Eye Definer
Revlon Colorstay Eyeliner in Blackberry
Essence Multi Action False Lashes Mascara
Loreal's  Touche Magique Illuminating Concealer

4. Rimmel's EXAGGERATE Waterproof Eye Definer
I bought this by chance because they were having some offer and I was in a need of an eyeliner. To my surprise, this is pretty decent It stays on my eyes on it's own - which is a great feat because not many thing stay on my eyes :( This is in Black and I've been using it forever, pretty much on a daily basis. It's really waterproof because there are times when I'm mad lazy, and I don't use a make up remover. SO I just end up looking like a panda after a good shower. But hey, at least it means it stays and requires more than just water to remove it right? :)

5. Revlon Colorstay Eyeliner in Blackberry
And because I've been using #4 since forever, I wanted to switch it up a little by introducing some color - which I'm quite sure you guys would think that this is quite a fail for color wise because this blackberry eyeliner, as delicious as it sounds, comes off nearly quite like black. HAHA. But the subtle purple does peep through upon close inspection and my eyes appears softer and not as harsh as compared to a black eyeline. Doesn't smudge, lasts slightly longer that #4!

6. Essence Multi Action False Lashes Mascara
Not a wow-product, but it's decent enough for my everyday usage. It's competitive pricing definitely places it  to a higher advantage! The sad thing is that it clumps quite a bit and I have to scrap off the excess upon every usage. :( But it's REALLY waterproof. So far, no panda eyes. Still, I can't wait to finish this up because it doesn't really lengthen or volumizes my lashes - which is one of the main reason when I'm using it everyday. Haha. It provides slight definition to your eyes, nothing glamtastic though.

7. Loreal's  Touche Magique Illuminating Concealer
This is for my undereye circles!! After applying #3 - Essence's Forget It! 3-in-1 concealer, I'd apply this over. Blending this is a dream as the product is being dispensed by a click pen.One thing would be, the shades are pretty limited. I'm quite tanned now, so this product enhances the different skin color around my eyes and cheeks - not a good thing though. But it's alright because its high pigmentation and ease of application, AND its lasting power has already got me hooked on. I wouldn't suggest using this on zits because the consistency is slightly runny, so it doesn't really stay and conceal the zit. But if it's just a minor zit with slight discoloration around it, it works pretty well.

Left to Right:
The Face Shop FACEit Designing Cake Eyebrow in Shade 01
Silky Girl's Gloss on lip color in Sweet Blush 01

8. The Face Shop FACEit Designing Cake Eyebrow in Shade 01
It's a daily staple. Defines my brows and lasts forever on my face and in the casing. Haha, I can never finish this in my entire life - I'm pretty sure.

9. Silky Girl's Gloss on lip color in Sweet Blush 01
For color, for shine and for moisturising!

So what are products that you guys use for school? :)

School's in!

Hello everyone!

It has been my academic-year-end break and evidently, I haven't been spending much time with this blog. Apologies - it's getting a little tiring apologising every single time I blog. But hey, you matter! So, this blog is going to be reconstructed - layout and some sections.

Alright, cheesy emotional stuff aside. Holidays are inching away and I'm glad I have to last few weeks of it to my own - to sort things out and prepare for school! That includes some shopping and as well as some picture taking. Cynthia has already started school, so our busy schedule has been further intensified. Le sigh. But I hope that we will be meeting before I start my literally crazy academic year which will spelling busy all week long.

I'll be shopping for some new clothes and school supplies in a few days so I've been wrecking my brains on what should I get, especially clothes. I need basics because I foresee myself repeating certain comfy ones and I don't really want people to notice that I've been repeating them on a much too frequent basis, oopsie!

So here are a couple of school fashion inspos that are pretty much gonna be at the back of my mind when I  shop around :) See you in a few days time!

The Face Shop: Post-Acne Brightening Serum

I share a love/hate relationship with this product. In fact, till date I really don't know what went wrong in the early days of our relationship.

I bought this product with the main aim of reducing my post acne scars - I have itchy fingers that seems to pluck pimples subconsciously, even when I'm asleep :( Initially this product didn't really do much. So I chucked it aside. But when the pimples subsided, and I tried to apply this over the dead scars, I realised that it does lighten scars! A little by little of course. But the amazing thing is that...

IT ACTUALLY HELPS TO PREVENT MORE PIMPLES FROM FORMING!

I apply this after toning my face. And after it has been absorbed, I then apply my moisturiser and sunblock. I used this everyday and night and yes, it works :) It's a lightweight translucent pinkish liquid serum that has a pleasant smell to it.

I guess this is going to be my back-up for my post acne times. It's about to finish and I'm gonna try other products first, and might eventually head back to this. Good stuff.

one of the times

You know how us, girls, tends to buy things because they look so pretty? because the packaging is so adorable! Or it's so PINK! yea it sounds familiar doesn't it?

This is what I ended up with... liese juicy shower, its some hair mist. It's so pink omg I can't help myself! and IT SMELL SO NICE! (it's like the nature republic remover all over again) This product does nothing to improve on my hair :( HAIS! SAD TRUTH!!!!!! used it for like 2 weeks? and I gave up -.-

And I dug out a zillion other hair products! ^.^ shall do another review soon! Now that I'm so free hehe!

eye makeup remover: Nature republic

Hi everyone! I went over to Cynthia's house after her exams to help clear up her warzone. And at the same time, she was complaining about certain products that don't work for her =/ So we figured that we should do some slipshot review for these sad products.

1st up: Lip and Eye Make up remover from Nature Republic.

This thing, does not remove anything. Y'know how some stuff remove at least a good amount of product within 1 swipe? This is definitely not one of them.

Product on hand: Revlon Lipstick, Dollywink Eyeliner and NYX red lip liner.

After ONE swipe:

After like 10 swipes:

After continuos swipes for a good 5seconds:

my (Cynthia) conclusion is... this thing sucks! THEY CHEAT MY MONEY AND FEELINGS OMG...doesn't work... WORST EYE REMOVER EVER :( the only GOOD thing abt this is that it smells good -.- anyways! the WARZONE IS NOW CLEAN! (or rather cleaner! hahaa) I have dug out a zillion products = more reviews! :) let's keep posting!

P.s. My exams are OVER!!!!! ORD LOOOOOO

Review: Palmer's Olive Oil Formulae Smoothing Shampoo and Replenishing Conditioner

I'm sure most of you know of the benefits of Olive Oil in our daily lives. I have been using Olive Oil since I was a kid. My mom would always pour a bucketful of Olive Oil on my head, and massage them into my skull. I guess that was one of the few reasons why I had really thick and smooth hair when I was younger.

These are a couple of other stuff that I use Olive Oil for:

  1. Hair Nourishing.
  2. Make up remover (I use Extra Virgin Olive Oil)
  3. Eczema Spots
  4. Cuticle care
  5. SALADS!!!
Of course there are other stuff such as facial/body scrubs (I'll get to this in the next few posts). However, one would have to have an acquired taste for its smell, because it does not smell universally pleasing. I would smother my head with olive oil - only if I know I'm gonna stay at home the whole day, or I'm gonna head to the pool. But definitely not, if I'm heading to town for some shopping!

Anyway, recently, I found a nice-smelling Olive Oil Shampoo while getting my toiletries restocked for the month. The shampoo smells abit musky - a scent that most people generally are okay with. It leaves my hair really soft after every shampoo and I absolutely look forward to every shower session with my long hair. (I know, I'm quite gross when I'm tired. Lol)

It was retailing at watsons for $9.90 each. Yep, same price for both! s

As you guys would have known, I bleached my hair right? After using this, plus the intense application of my DIY Hair Nourishing Olive Oil, my hair was on the right track back to its  health. BUT, I just had to bleach it again because it was looking brown too soon. The good thing was that, with the constant exposure to Olive Oil and all hair care products I've been using, my hair has been really manageable despite the bleaching + dyeing! So yay to that!

DIY: Nourishing Repair Hair Oil

If you guys have been following my ‘Hair Woes,’ you would have known that I bleached my hair-ends on the 1st April and ever since then, my damaged ends became worse than before!

I’ve been searching high and low for a decent hair product to counter this vanity problem of mine – afterall, bleaching my hair was something done in my own accord and I totally deserve such a consequence! Sadly, I couldn’t find anything that would guarantee the nourishment of my hair.  Everything I read about online, had mix reviews. If only I was rich enough to try as many as I could.

Long story short, I was hunting high and low for a hair product over my mom’s dresser and I found that she has alot of ‘Olive Oil’ based hair products. She once, was an avid fan of hair dyeing and perming and would have her hair done every 3 months. Her hair was like HAY then! But now, she has really smooth hair and she credits her olive oil products.

When I was younger, my mom used to slather the strange smelling oil onto my hair as well, as much as I hated it, I had really really nice and soft hair! So I figured, ‘Hheck, I’ll make my own!’

Here are the things that you need:
  • Olive Oil* (Normal/Extra Virgin)
  • Vitamin E Oil
  • Empty Bottle
  • Fragrance Oil (optional)
*You could replace ‘Olive Oil’ with other natural oils such as Jojoba oil, Coconut Oil, Grapeseed oil, Avocado Oil, Almond Oil etc. Click here for the different hair benefits of different oils!

Those 3 are the babies of the entire hair potion, im telling ya. I'm using:

Bertolli's Extra Light Olive Oil (yes, I add them to my salad too :),
Fruit of the Earth Vitamin E Skin Care Oil, and
Apple Fragrance oil.

There isn't any exact measurements for this oil mixture, and you can add in any amount you prefer.

What I did:

- 5 tsp of Olive Oil
- 2 tsp of Vitamin E Oil
- 1 tsp of Fragrance Oil

And you shake it all up!

Try it and let us know how this went for your hair! It has definitely helped me in restoring the smoothness of my hair, thankfully :)

Goodluck guys!

Oh, on a sidenote: this thing is pretty oily - so I would advise you to tie up your hair into a bun/braid it whenever you apply this :D

Update: Bight Yellow Hairy No More!

I thought I would just update the current status of my hair..

Because I had an event last week, I figured that it'd be nice to have purple hair. So I dyed streaks of it... 3 days after bleaching my hair twice - not the smartest move.

Now, I have quite- damaged ends. And I've been on this hair treatment quest to find products for my hair. It's just the tips though, since I quite heavily bleached it. The purple hair dye is semi-permanent - of which where I read online, it states that semi-perma hair dyes are actually quite beneficial to your hair due to the conditioner in it!!! I think I'm gonna dye my entire head purple now.

Here are some non-edited pictures that are fresh from the camera.

Pretty bad huh? That was 4 days ago - 8th April 2012. But the plus point will be that, it's no longer as yellow and brassy and hay looking as it was about 2 weeks ago aye?

After a night's long of braided pigtails!

Or maybe, it was the red sweater that enhanced the yellowness in the hair. Hahahaha.

I've been slathering on a couple of nourishing products onto the ends of my hair to see if they help with frizziness. But so far, everything seems to going pretty well! Although I do realise that shampoos for blonde hair are pretty dehydrating.... =/

Will update the products that I've been using over the weekend. Meanwhile, please relish in my damage ends!

water sports hate good hair

Hello everybody!!!! To all who love water sports, be it swimming in the pool or sea... I feel for your hair :(

As you would have experienced, when you shower after swimming, your hair feels like CRAP. Well, not like crap CRAP... Just bad... it's dry, easily tangled... even after shampoo-ing + conditioning... Chlorine in the pool water destroys your hair! And the seawater will dry and dull your hair. :( no matter what you do after the activity, your hair condition seems to be worse than before...

HATE IT DON'T YOU! I DO! I love wakeboarding! but the seawater is sooooo bad for my hair, I actually thought of not going to wakeboard anymore... :(

UNTILLLLLL MY COACH told me this: "Just apply conditioner on your hair la! It will be easier for you to shampoo afterwards!"

And I tried... OMGAWD YOU MEAN IT'S THAT EASY?!?!?!?!?!?!?! Yes ladies (and gentlemen), it's THAT easy. Just apply a generous amount of conditioner on your hair before engaging in any form of water sports. :D I'VE TRIED IT AND IT WORKS!

It reminded me of my hairdresser. He told me to replace conditioner with hair treatment cream or hair mask, because conditioner seals the cuticles of your hair. As your hair is coated with conditioner, it is difficult to absorb any hair treatment oil or whatsoever after the shower. Hence, DO NOT USE conditioner after shampoo as it's not as good for your hair!

p.s SORRY for the lack of photos... Shall upload my wakeboarding photos when i'm more PRO! teehee

XOXO,
Cynthia

Hello!

Sorry we took forever to appear on the blog! I was half hesitating to disappear into the thin air, till I saw Cynthia's posts and couldn't stop giggling to myself. Her posts are always so energetic! I shall aspire to be like her!!

Sorry. 9Gag has officially taken over my life as a form of outlet to relief some stress - besides eating junk food.

A couple of useless updates:

1. I have failed on my diet plan for the 869856th time.

2. I'm ending year 1 zomg.

3. Sem 2 was horrible BECAUSE of all the group work. But I flipped at my groupmates at the end of it.

4. I feel so fat because I am fat.

5. I tried bleaching my hair because I wanted to dipdye my hair and now i have yellow hair *help!*

So here are some pictures of my hair :( sobzsobz. I bleached the ends twice.. and it's a little dry and frizzy now (basically I fried my hair). It's leaning towards yellow, and something in my mind keeps telling me that one more bleach and you'll achieve your desired hair color for a light purple hair. But I think I'll give it awhile. Just yesterday, I went around my area buying all possible hair care products for my hair.

- L'Oréal Professionnel Série Expert Shine Blonde Conditioner,
- RPR Brighten My Blonde Shampoo and Conditioner.

It's all purple in color (including the product itself!), because apparently purple helps to remove the yellow brassiness of your hair. I'll keep updating the status of my hair.... :( I really want lavender tipped hair though. Oh well. Oh the plus point is that, my natural hair is probably enjoying all these benefits and my hair smells really nice all the time :)
Day 1 from bleaching!

My homework is calling me, and I'll be back.
